Ok, well i got a steal on some older legacy wheels with Michelin harmony all seasons that had tons of life left on them, so I couldn't pass it up. But the wheels where flat black so of course I had to spray them gold. Oh I am sure many of you will be wondering what paint I used, its Duplicolor Engine enamel Gold, but the cap was marked with #223 so its not the same as what many others have been using. Gold stands out allot more. Very even color with all lighting since this was taken 5 mins ago. Stands out in the dark and isn't much brighter in direct sunlight. Sorry for the blurry pics, low light and i was lacking patience.
pretty clean, I'll probably end up using the same one for my wrx winter wheels. How much you get the rim/tire deal for?
I got them for $400 shipped, I have seen the wheels go for about $200 a set used and the tires are about about $105 or so a piece online.
Now now Fuji, no street racing you know that!! Only rolling races for this guy, trying to keep transmission #3 alive for a while longer yet!!
frumrol is fine......hheehehee I've gotta a GM BCS coming. Should be nice after the tune. How the car running so far??
Car is running well, I'm being very nice to it seeing its my only vehicle now since I sold my Wrangler. The PFC is controlling the boost well, it still loves to hold steady at 21-22 psi. But I need a good tune, my buddy that was supposed to street tune it keeps backing out, I think he is scared of the Power FC LOL!!! I can monitor the knock and there are no knock issues yet, so I just take it easy on her and I'm not too worried. I will be getting the Power FC Boost Control solenoid, since its all plug and play, just not very cheap at $275 shipped. Oh, I'm thinking of doing my compressor housing and intake mani the same gold as the wheels, what do ya think? I have a can and a half left still LOL.
