IT STARTED!!! and I drove it down the street and back! I just got back from a road trip out to montreal and Mike said he got the car to kinda start and it was acting funny. So I went over there with my laptop yesterday, got the scoop from his dad (nice guy ), and started playing with the hydra. After about 15 minutes I had the car idling and after about 30 I drove the car three feet forward and 3 feet backwards. THEN... I drove it down the street and back... TWICE!!! I'm just so happy that it ran. There are still a few bugs to sort out like any build... the iat isn't working and I think the wideband is toast . But those are things that can be solved in an hour. So now I have to wait for Mike to return from the x-games so he can finish up a few things and hopefully when I get back from my friends wedding on the 14th... I'll have a car to break in! :biggrin: So because I'm such a genius, I didn't even realize where I was posting this... can someone move it where it needs to be... wow... now I feel sooooo smart

believe it or not I was actually sober in that pic :laugh: it was hotter than hell working on hot exhaust on a hot car in justins little garage.

Haha... the car is far from done, the meth injection isn't hooked up yet, the iat isn't working, there is a lot of organizing to do and then there is the tuning. I wish the wideband was working properly, I could have at least gotten the thing figured out a little bit. As for the ac... I never used it anyway. Tuning for it sucked and I've gotten this far without it so it should be ok
Is Mike driving in the X-games or is he one of the mechanics for a team? Lucky guy, he has all the fun
the cat is there for FMIC size comparios only. lol. kelly: if you need a wideband you could prolly borrow mine. i would need to take the gauge out but thats only a wire or two. i haven had the wideband 02 in sinc e i de-turboed. and last i knew Mike was on one of the rally guys crew, not competing. although if her were competing it would be awesome.
Who is he crewng for? Anyone know. I think he told me who he was crewing for before. But, with the ****ty memory I have. I forget.
Edit: I do believe it is CPD Racing with Driver Lauchlin O'Sullivan and codriver Scott Putnam. I also believe Doug Havir is the ower of the car and the owner or president or whatever of Rally America. One of the main bodies behind rally here in the US. http://www.rally-america.com/
