Yeah, 2.0 works fine, but mine has had that user options problem through all of the 3.0 RC's, as well.
This particular theme/layout has always had some issues with Firefox. This one is just a little more obvious that most.
I had this same issue. When I logged in on my new computer (Which I loaded FF3 onto in the first 10 minutes of owning) I couldn't even get to the login box. I had to attempt to make a post in order to get to the login screen.
I first noticed this when viewing on my iPhone, a lot more annoying now that it affects my desktop =/
Just got done installing SuSE 11.0 on my new XPC, and that comes with FF3. Had this exact same problem. And once logged in, the top right hand corner looks just like what the OP showed us.
is the columns really screwed up? i cant tell from just that picture but you MIGHT try clearing out your cache and trying again...but this is a widespread problem with a lot of people..Fire fox hasn't come up with a solution to this yet...but are in the process of figuring it out
Same issues with FF3. No logon fields, no profile/edit/PM lines either. Only way to logon is to reply to a thread. Even after that, the User options/PM text are half buried in the upper right corner.
I doubt this is something that the Mozilla(Firefox) guys will fix, more than likely the page was written for and tested against a browser that rendered the html incorrectly. I would expect any fixes to come from vBulletin.
Code: <html lang="en" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr"> ... <body> <div id="header"> ... <div style="margin-top: -45px; position: absolute; text-align: center; width: 100%; z-index: 220; min-width: 790px;"> works much better as <div style="margin-top: 45px; position: absolute; text-align: center; width: 100%; z-index: 220; min-width: 790px;"> ... Where ... is some block of random unrelated html After login, the PM details, etc in the upper right suffer a similar problem and a similar fix. This header block is most likely only written in one place and included on every page via some php include function. It's possible there is a different version of this block for each browsertype or even browser version, I don't have access to vBulletin source/php code so I really cannot narrow it down any more for you. My guess is that Firefox now handles margin-top differently or that vBulletin returns it's generic page because it does not find a match for the new Firefox version string to return the proper header file.
