I use firefox and never even noticed that... I always click on members then I get the login box, but I usually just have it remember my password.

Again, like I've said before, this appears to be a problem with firefox, not with the site. Firefox DOES have a bugreport feature, it won't ever get fixed until someone reports it. Or, reports it in an intelligent manner that can be understood (I can't find this error in google searches .. which is strange, since it DOES happen on other sites)

If it's not fixed in the next release, i suppose the tables could be edited for this forum (but our admins are busy)

I have mine remember my pw. It's worked fine ... or .. you could use IE until it gets fixed (for just this one site. We don't install spyware)

Now I am having issues with firefox viewing the site.

The user opction/info stuff is moved down as you can see in the picture. Also I cannot use the forums buttons when it is moved down like that (home/new posts/calendar/members cars/shops/forums/members/search).

Ya, I can't win. People complain the FF3 doesn't work. I hack my way through fixing it, then I get blasted the firefox 1.5 doesn't work.....

Also, Steve-o has nothing to do with the site anymore. Thats why some of the changes are slow to happen, I am doing everything by myself and I am learning to code all at the same time.

Que? People still use FF 1.5?

You can't be expected to support browser versions that are so old. Code for the current browser, and maybe the version immediately preceding. No older. You can't, nor shouldn't please everybody. (No offense, Shibbers)

    Thanks for the efforts, Russ.

How can one still be 'accidentally' using FF 1.5? Hasn't it prompted you to update at all in the past two years?

Work's horrendous site blocking. I had to bring in the installer on a thumb-drive so I could actually use a decent browser!

No worries on my end. It was more of a joke than anything else.

As for old browsers, I think I have seen some ie5 and ie6 browser hits on the site. It gets to be people surfing from work. We have old crap at our work also. I live off of my 4gb thumb drive now. I can't tell you the last time I fired up IE at work. I need to have a FTP and our companies $100 per computer solution doesn't work (and our IT guy doesn't know how to make it work), so I just use the Fireftp for firefox and call it good.

Hopefully you upgraded to 3.1, it is so much faster running on a thumb drive. Also, check out portableapps.com (I think that is it). They have some pretty cool things for thumb drive users.

Mine does the exact same thing, and I'm not using 1.5. I have Firefox 2.0.0.20. However, this site has been the sole reason that I downgraded back from FF3 to FF2. If it now works with FF3, I'm going to go ahead and upgrade again.

    Thanks, Russ.

    Stuart.

EDIT:- Upgraded to FF3.0.5 and all seems well again.
