Wow thats bad! Pretty sweet how the koala bear just drinks from the water bottle like a little kid.

My brother lives only 25 miles from where the fires are. He said the sky is crazy... Lightning in the smoke plumes and everything. Crazy. The koala pcture made me sad :(

The koala picture is actually a happy story. Sam is being cared for at a local animal hospital over there.

Nate, is your brother involved with fighting these? If he is then my prayers are going out to him and his crew, as well as the rest of the guys fighting those. It's one thing to go into a burning building, it's another to face a wildfire like that with shovels, rakes and chainsaws, especially when they can switch directions and move over 60mph. Scary stuff.

I thought I'd heard they might've caught who set the fires? If so, I imagine he's going to be in for a very bad time, especially with almost 200 dead.
