finally bought a caliper so i could measure my stock sway bars. 25mm front/ 25mm rear!! i couldnt believe it! i hadnt done much reading on the differences in the first allocations, but this is a nice one to find.

^^ yeah really, all of my sources say that the 02-03 WRX sedans had 20mm and 04+ sedans had 17mm, while all wagons 02+ had 17mm. 25 is crazy!

25mm? I've never heard of that before -- I was always under the impression that '02 and some of the early '03s had a 20mm rsb. I guess I should get a caliper to measure my '02 sedan rsb, hehehe.

i checked again and got the same thing. hmm, i just bought this cheapo caliper from 7 corners, maybe the mark of where the reading is at is off a bit. i didnt think they would be that big, but i remembered russ saying that they were bigger, i just didnt remember how much bigger.

$20 says it's a bad caliper or user.

I have 22mm Perrins and they were definately larger than the stockers on MY02 WRX.

    sway bars

    Agreed,all 02's and early model 03' sedans were 20mm front/rear. 03 owners need to measure...could be 17.
