ok, if you are able to come we will be showing up at acorn about 6:00 i'm going rain or shine, but i'd advise you bring some good boots and a windbreaker incase it gets drizzly. TEE TIME 6:15!!!!!!! http://mappoint.msn.com/(v44utj55muvuj055eavgtj55)/map.aspx?C=45.02025,-93.11108&A=7.16667&P=|45.02025,-93.11108|1|Acorn%20Park|L1| if you dont have any discs, i have a few extra, otherwise just run with a nice putter, a nice mid distance disc and then a long driver... for beginers pick up the aviar or a magnet for your putter, a cheeta, gazelle, or similar for mid distance.. for your driver baybe find an eagle. dont be tempted to go super heavy.. a tight, low power player will out score a wild and loose big arm tosser any day. please note: while beverages are customary fare in discgolf, i must advise that you use discresion in what and how much you bring. acorn is known for having strict and ruthless alcahol spotchecks hidden mid-course. if you have a bag that can hold your discs and, say, a can of sprite, i'd make sure you use it, and keep it closed between holes.

it's a good course, there are maybe two longass holes, we still play them all par 3 though. so expect to crack 10 over soon. the best i've ever thrown acorn was 6 over, and that was when i was playing all the time. most of the lot is outside of disc line of fire. there is one hole coming back out that you have to be carefull.

It was pretty good, we only stayed for 9 tho. We were waiting for Disco who started this thread to show up :evil: It ended up being Me, Jordan, Fuji, and Lue so we had all the impreza models represented now that Lue has an RS!!!

Make it earlier than that. I would tell everyone to meet at 6:15 if you did it so that if you are lucky you can start by 6:45 but thats just me. I would try and make it but it would be tough cause its my last weekend here before I go to school.
I will be unable to make it this week as I will probably be on the road to Grand Forks by then(provided my CEL isn't something serious). We should maybe try a new course every Friday though being we may not have that many days left to go before it starts getting cold.
