Winter Storm watch for Tuesday here in Minnesota. Means it will snow and inch and people will be in the ditch.

Got the XT ready, 14" pugs and Hakkapeliita tires on her. Should be ready to go, bring winter on!

    Man, that car looks nice.

Anyway, I put my snow tires on last night. I forgot how loud they are compared to my summer tires.

    Bring on the snow.

I picked up a nail on wednesday, so instead of fixin the RE92s I just bought some Wintersport M3s. It was sooner than I planned, but looks like it'll work out just fine!

i'm going to be laughing when there is a month gap in between tomorrow's big snow and the next big snow. you will be burning your snow tires down the whole month.

Well, I'd rather have the snow tires on just in case I find myself in a situation where I need the extra grip to avoid an accident.

But, you can laugh if you want, I won't be able to hear you over the humm of my tires

You're missing a lug nut too? I hate that!

I'm starting my search for an XT6, and then I'll be in on the ice racing and rallyX!!!

Damn it looks like that XT6 is only a few years old! You put it away for the summer every year?

I did rally-x back when I had my GC with the old Yokos on it. I was kinda jaded when I couldn't get 15" wheels for my Pirelli K4 gravel tires and the new Yokos weren't hot on gravel (though mud they were) so I wasn't out this last season. I do need to baptise the GT in some dirt though...

    Hey,

I'm not missing a lugnut. The one on front is a stock black one. When I bought the Pug's they were missing one lug nut. Kinda hard to find Peugeot rims around here to get another lug.

The XT is an 86 and I bought it from Austin last January and flew out to Seattle and drove it home. Was a blast going thru the mountains. It's a pretty clean car, could use a paint job.

I really dont want to drive it this winter in the salt but it's that or the SVX and I paid to much for the SVX. I think one of you young guys should trade me a WRX for it and then you will have a sweet XT and a piece of history for the years to come. LOL!

As for burning the tires down, yeah your right. I had them on the wagon last year and they are GREAT tires but they do go down fast when you drive 100 miles a day to work and back. This will be the last winter on this set but they are really worth the money. I like them better then the Blizzaks I had the year before.
