Just got the call from Morries and I am going to pick these bad boys up tonight or tomorrow. Ah the WRX will look good with some fishing equipment on it.
[insert foot in mouth] Bad News: Someone didn't read the order form or see the extra money I paid and I do not have plates yet. :eek4: Good News: Scott is the man and will make sure it gets done right! Hope to have new plates by the end of the week. I also got a nice evening drive out of the deal.... which is better than watching bad TV.
$40 and it goes to a good cause. I figure the more plates that we buy the more fish they can stock in the lakes.... etc.
Hmm.... not bad. +1 on stocking the fish If only we educated the general public on what fish are acceptable to keep and what you should really just take a picture and throw back!
My family has a cabin on the chain of lakes in Alexandria and unless you are a local or have been fishing them for 10+ years. No problem finding bass or sun fish, but good luck finding any walleye. Ugh...
IIRC it's only $40 the first year and then $30 each year after that. The extra ten dollars is for the transfer fees. I have the loon plates
There are a few new designs too, check out the other ones here... http://www.dmv-department-of-motor-vehicles.com/MN_Minnesota_dmv_department_of_motor_vehicles.htm I almost got the new deer one, but I liked the fishermen better.
what if I just renewed my tabs in Jun. will I have to renew them again for these plates? its $200 for me
No I dont think so but I don't really know, it should only be $40. There may be some extra fees to tranfer the tabs though.
