I have this problem everytime when the weather is not normal, especially rain. The windshield exterior always fog all the time. Doesn't matter what kinda setting I put on the climate control. Cold, hot, warm, a/c doesn't get rid of it. Although I tried full blast at max hot works but i dont think I want full blast of hot air inside my car around this time of the year. I always gota use the wipers to wipe the fogs away. It fogs from the exterior so I'm guessing its my cheapo wipers thats causing it. Got'em at Wal-Mart for $5 each. When I turn the wipers on(during rain) it has a following fog after the wipers for a second then clears. I also use Rain-Max too. You guys think its my cheapo wipers?

I never use the rain-x style chemicals, they seem to leave a residue on the window. It may be the wipers, but I would guess that it is from the chemical you are putting on there. Quit being a cheap ass Kong! Lol:laugh: Get youself some decent wiper blades($20 a set) and clean your window really good with a strong cleaner. That crap gets on your wiper blades and smears back and forth over and over again. I'm 95% sure it's from that Rain-x or similar product.

I have a similar problem in my '95 f-150. Never had it 'till this year. If there is heavy fog outside the outside of the windshield gets a super heave haze on it that seems to be only removed by wipers. really dangerous because it appears in less then a second and you can't see though it at all. I can tell you in my case it is not cheap wipers, bosch wipers. I don't use rain-x or anything unless it is the chemical from a touch-less carwash.

haha...like one of my co-worker said, I got a very expensive car(compared to his, Ford Taurus) but always try to find the cheapest stuff for it. We use the term "Ebay Quality" to describe bad stuff... at the time of buying my Blades I gota buy it for 3 cars. Can't buy all those 3 sets of expensive blades at once. haha, also i got about 30 bucks at the time. I even have to buy those $3 blades, damm I was broke. I've used Rain-x and Invisible Glass cleaner.

What kinda glass cleaner would you guys recommand?

Rain-X makes a product to stop the fogging of the inside windows. I use it a lot in the winter and never have a fogged window. Never tried it out on the outside but it may help...

Rain-x makes a great product for the outside of a car but I think it may be the problem that is causing your fogging on the outside, or a chemical from the car wash, or a combination of the two. I have had this happen dozen of times driving around lake minnetonka and it is a PITA. Just do some good ol window scrubbing for the next few days to get rid of all of that built up chemical on your windsheild. If that doesn't take it off then come back

the stoners invisible glass you used is a good cleaner. just use claybar or a glass polish before using the glass cleaner if you can't get the nasty stuff out. I use autoglym and sonus glass polish and would recommend both...

I used regular car wax on my window... If you cant get that film off, take a razor blad and scrape along your window.
