I could sit there for hours and hours and eat their fillet mignon medallions. I think last time I went there I may have eaten 5-6.

Needless to say, every time I leave, I hurt.

It's about time they opened a churrascaria up there. Ever since I moved down to DFW I've been going to Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil for lunch and the occasional dinner. We tend to hit similar ones (Fires of Brazil and Brazos Grill were a few local versions for example) for lunch on Fridays when we're on the road since we have plenty in our per diem and we need something filling for the long waits in the airport and on the plane. Good stuff. We've taken to calling them "meat comas" instead of any other name. Be sure to eat some starches while you're grazing on meat or else you'll pay for it later. Besides the "salad bars" at those places are usually really good.

$40 a person...and alot of BLOOD! I like it...wifey is not a meat eater, wasted $$$ for just eating potatoes, salad, and plantines...lol

The salad bar is great too..Brazilian STeakhouse FTW...I believe for lunch it's $25 a person

I went to Fire of Brazil when I was down in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. Looks to be exactly the same kind of thing. I am sooooo glad somebody let me know about this local place. I know where I'm taking the wife for her birthday this year. And Mother's Day. And Father's Day. And Lief Erikson day. I'm going to go broke at this rate.

    Stuart.
