I'm in FL again with my work, and so I'm hanging out with the Aston Martin again. I'll be taking her out for a little spin as soon as my boss gets back from whatever he's currently doing. I need to get some sleep, as I've just finished driving from MN to NYC, and pulled into Orlando about an hour ago. Maybe then I'll go drive it. EDIT! I almost forgot. In case some of you have not seen media I've posted about this car. It is a 2004 Aston Martin DB9. The specs can easily be found on line, but for quick reference, its a 6.0L V12. I will get some pictures of that and put them up later. I might even add in a squeeky fuji voice if I can muster the energy. In the mean-time, I took some pictures and video. Enjoy. (Notice the dual rear calipers?) Here are the Videos. I'm hoping sound works as I havent tested them out.
SWEET! pics look great. sound works well, that thing sounds mean. could you get a large close up of the emblem on the hood? i think it would make a great desktop background. maybe a gauge shot too. when are you heading back up from florida?
damn it all to hell, you are sitting in beautiful tropical weather playing with an aston while im stuck up here trying to ready my s2k for sale with ......but of course.dah dah dah...katie strot.....the only damn person around to take me to drop it off... luck y bas tard...hey sorry we never connected a couple of weeks ago, when you get back??? how did you like NYC!
wow the interior is gorgeous. o and the dual rear calipers are for the ebrake. same thing on the vipers
paddles. I saw some of the interior shots of an automatic one, and the p/n/d/3/2/1 are not a shifter but actually buttons you press on the dash.
I will get a close up of the emblem and try to get it loaded to photobucket before I leave. Not sure if I can get it loaded here though, I only have another 30 minutes. I'm headed back on sun country (boss just bought my ticket) and should be home around 3pm today. I went out and took the Aston around the Bay Hill area, and not much has changed. Its still way too much power for me to handle or feel comfortable with.
Okay, per request of martin, I got pics of the Aston's emblem. Sorry will, I emailed you the full files, because I forgot and thought it was you that requested the emblem pics. Sorry they are so big, but people wanted them for backgrounds. That last one will need some cleaning in photoshop, but its the best I could do with the crappy lighting and low memory card space. Another side note, during my drive, I realized just how impossible it is to keep the back end from just ripping out from underneath you if you give it anything over 1/2 throttle (underneath 40mph). What a good time that was :yumyum:
