nope, we bought a vf34 for it and it is getting the deadbolt P&P. I think we are keeping the stock injectors and upgrading the fuel pump though. UTEC is on order and so is the erz downpipe and n1 muffler section from ebay. I hope we can get it done by spring :?
yup, just like the last wrx was a show car too: it made 320whp and ran consistent 12.7's. oh and we are waiting to talk to crawford at sema next week. oh and a company named dynapack, but I dont exactly remember what they sell. :?
AO48R is the tire of choice of the street setup. Hoosiers will be the race set up. We used the Blitz technospeed for fitment check on the 265. Advan RGII's on the way. After SEMA we will have some better progress. seemed silly to start tearing into the motor when we have the prefect oportunity to talk to the people that know some stuff about somethings. Motor should be coming out right after we get back from SEMA. Lots of other parts are already on the way. ARC/Project Mu/ADVAN/GT Spec/Momo. Defi's installation has started. keep an eye out for brakes, suspension, seats, wheels, exhaust, FMIC, rods, pistons, turbo setup, etc. after SEMA.
apparently people have been putting 275's on an 8" rim for autox in stock trim. ('05 only, I imagine '06 would be the same.) You need a +48 wheel though, the stock +53 doesn't quite clear the strut. I was considering it for next year but I'm sure the tire place would look at me like I was nuts. "You want to stuff that on there...?"
