For Sale: '00 - '04 Outback Wagon OEM Roof Rack Cross Bars - $40

These are not the flat cross bars that come with the car, but rather the Subaru Accessory round bars that you use to attach the bike carrier, cargo carrier, ski carrier, etc to. They lock onto the main roof rails (comes with both keys). Very little usage as I used them to occasionally haul small amounts of lumber. Pretty much near mint condition. Bolts and wing nuts have been replaced with higher quality stainless steel hardware. Located in Eden Prairie. I believe they were about a $180 item when they were new.

 

If they fit the 05 obxt I could be tempted into buying these.

 

Not to hijack his sale, but if they don't fit I have a pair of stock rails for an 05 obxt just taking up space in my garage.

 

I can help -- those only fit 2000-2004 roof rails. 2005-2009 rails have a different shape.

 

Oh, and they'll also fit Volkswagen Passats from 02-05 for sure, maybe 98-05.

 

I believe these fit a very specific profile roof rail. It would surprise me if Subaru used the same rail on a different model line.

I have no problem with any sort of jacking going on in this thread.

 

You don't need to use Subaru accessories on this rack either; I have a Thule setup with round bars on my VW and my bike trays would fit right on these Subaru bars.
