OK, so I picked up this project from on these forums 5+ years ago.
Previous owner had kept very complete notes of all his plans and everything he did.
Car was not running when I bought it, but I spent some time with the wiring and found the problem.
Basically that's all I've done with it and I've moved on to other projects.
I bought a bunch of parts and things that I intended to install that can go with the car too.
So it seems like it should still be worth at least the $1,500 that I paid for it.

    Original FS thread:

The car is a 1998 2.5RS coupe with 151K miles, black with black cloth interior. All around it's in pretty rough shape. I was planning on RallyX or other motorsports when I bought it and I think it would be perfect for that.

The swap is an EG33 from a 91 SVX that the previous owner pulled from a crashed car. The wiring is still a work in progress and needs a lot of "finishing", but it does technically run and drive. The cooling system is plumbed, but there is no working temperature gauge (I bought one an aftermarket one, but haven't installed it), so I only run the engine briefly to avoid overheating. The modifications to mount the Jeep radiator eliminated the hood latch, so I started putting in some aerocatch hood pins, but I only got far enough to keep the hood closed. I have a replacement front CV axle for it (boot is torn on the one in the car). I have a bigger rear sway bar for it (from a WRX, i think?). Might be some more wheels and tires, I'll have to see what else I have around that goes with it.

I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow. I've just been procratinating on posting this ad, I wanted to get it posted.

Car is located in Roseville/Arden Hills. I can help move it if necessary.
Clean title in my name, I can buy current tabs for it at your expense prior to transfer if that helps.

A lot I would change, but a lot of potential.....

I missed that it's a coupe, probably puts me out (at least until I can sell my Celica, but I'm not planning to do that until next year).

I am very interested depending on how bad the MN rot is in the rockers.
I'd like to hear it run...

I've never looked at the rockers under the plastic covers, obviously the rear quarter panels are pretty rough.
There is a fair amount of wiring to do to get the engine running as Subaru intended, but we can fire it up and hear it run.

Ah man! I was making moves on this convincing the wife. But if it doesn’t run, that will be a suuuper hard sell. :( Todd can get her running though i’m sure. He is a Subie guru

Yeah, it's not really a driver yet. It doesn't have the starter input wired to the ECU and the main relay isn't hooked up so it's a little janky getting it started, but after that it runs well enough to know the engine is good and drive around the block or something. Very much a project still, although those particular issues would only take a few hours to sort out.
