I'm selling my 1999 2.5RS White Coupe project car, originally purchased here from RichWRX in the summer of 2008. The car is currently in storage in non-running condition and in need of love. I replaced all the wheel bearings, all of the rear bushings, and rebuilt/replaced all of the calipers, in addition to ripping out all of the old carpet, horrible audio/stereo wiring, and began repairing the rear parking brake assembly. There is mininal body rust, but a large dent on the passenger door needs repair. The car comes with new carpet and two new 2006 WRX seats and many assorted new and off-the-car components. I can give a full list of items in need of work and items that come with the sale to seriously interested parties. The car is a rolling chassis with engine and ran when I got it. The original goal was to do a full OEM restoration and Sunday drive the car, but with limited space, a new fiance, and transitioning jobs, I'm pushed to let her go. The car is currently in storage at MAPerformance's auxiliary facility. Seriously interested persons can PM me for my phone number and meet me whenever to look at the car. Price: $3000 obo. This is less than half what I paid for it.
Bare minimum: Alternator back, battery back in, seat back in, new lower ball joint for front drivers side (have in hand), brakes back on, seat in. You'd need some misc. parts like new banjo bolts for the brakes w/washers and some brake fluid. I'd recommend new tie rod ends as well. They had significant play in them when I purchased the vehicle.
Can the engine start? Any picture's of the dent and rust? And full list of items need to work on this car. PM me.
So the fiance wouldn't leave... I know how that goes. I guess selling the car is a good 'second' choice.
Have you got any pics of the damage/rust? If it's in better condition than mine, I might just move a couple of parts over and rock it......

Pardon the delay all. I'll be sending PMs out more tomorrow, I've been busy with finals, job hunting, and some freelance work. Long and short of it: a lot needs to be fixed. The car is mostly disassembled right now and in storage.
Where are you located? Would you possibly trade me the info/compass screen for my storage cubby plus cash?
so my $2000 offer isnt good enough i'm guessing?? It's hard buying a car thats all taken apart by someone else then trying to piece it all together.
