Trying to help my gf sell her car. I've owned this car for about 3 years. Reason for selling is that I found another car (with a turbo) that I'd like to buy. Nothing wrong with how it runs. I purchased this car from a guy in Minneapolis who bought it from an auction. It had no mechanical damage, but because of cosmetic damage it had been salvaged out. He owned a bodyshop, fixed it up to look brand new, and flipped it to me. All Carfax records and even original Craigslist ad are still in my possession for proof. I just purchased 4 brand new GT Radial Champiro Icepro winter tires in December, which cost a little over $450 from Discount Tire in Mankato. Not even 500 miles on them yet. (Kinda mad I bought such nice tires to find a new car I want to buy a month later) Only cosmetic damage since being in my possession is a dent on the front passenger side panel right above the wheel, from a slip last winter (clearly I did not have ice tires last winter). After the slip, the car was thoroughly inspected and wheels were realigned at the Service Rack in North Mankato. Again, I have all records of the services, and it drives wonderfully. I have never had issues with this car. No 'mods', and has not been 'raced' or screwed around with. Well maintained and up-to-date with recent oil change. 5-speed manual (but very forgiving for someone new to driving a clutch), AWD, 4-door with non-leather seats (not cold in the winter, doesn't scorch your body in the summer!) and this car seriously drives impressively smooth through any terrain. I've taken it camping, and when other cars' wheels were spinning in a lake of mud, this car reversed right out and glided through with no problem. Haven't even felt it slip once on the ice or snow since buying the new winter tires either. My old roommate had the 'eco' version of this car the same year, and this is not the 'eco' version. This car has power windows, power locks, larger center console than eco-version, and the upgraded 6-disk am/fm cd player. Gets about 25-30mpg! Both heat and AC work perfectly. We installed a hitch last May so that I could haul a trailer with pit bikes. Can either uninstall hitch, or sell it with the car. Will post more pictures after I can take it to a carwash and get some photos on a sunny day. This is a photo of it the day after I bought the new tires I'm free most evenings after 6pm, Saturdays after 3pm and all day Sundays. Prefer texts over calls due to being at work most of the day/week. Clean title, with bank lien release in my possession. Currently has 117,XXX miles, and will continue to drive until sold. Willing to take cash, a check from a bank, or a combination of both. http://mankato.craigslist.org/cto/5411304573.html Thank you for looking!
I can not confirm that it has or has not been done. If it has, the previous owner would have done that. I'm not sure if my gf has a stack of receipts for the car or not. Could always ask her in the number provided on CL.
