For Sale: 2016 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Touring with Eyesight and Navigation

Fully loaded 2016 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Touring with Eyesight and Navigation in Crystal White Pearl with black leather interior. This Forester is the highest model (2.0XT with the turbo motor) with the highest package (Touring) with literally every option (Navigation and Eyesight). I've kept the Forester well maintained and I have the full maintenance history and all receipts.

I am the original owner and bought the car new in March 2016. The reason that I am selling the Forester is because I just got a company car, and I do not need two daily drivers. The car is currently in my storage garage and is not being driven on a regular basis, therefore the mileage will not increase by very much.

There are a few extras on the car:
Class III 2" hitch (only used for a bike rack).
Front windows were tinted with high quality ceramic tint at 35%.
The moonroof was also tinted with high quality ceramic tint at 5%.
A clear bra was installed when the car was new.
OEM (stock) mufflers from a 2015 WRX. I still have the OEM Forester mufflers that will be included with the car.

The CVT in these is pretty solid.

 

But it does! You can either have a 6 speed or an 8 speed, it just depends on what mode you are in (I, S, or S#).

Ok fine, I realize it is a CVT, but in S# (uses 8 predefined gears) and/or manual mode, it actually shifts very fast. Not quite dual clutch transmission fast, but it is quick. It is loads more fun to drive than the typical droney CVT.

WARRANTY: The car comes with the remainder of the Subaru factory warranty and is automatically transferred to the new owner. The factory warranty is basically:

3 years, 36,000 miles, full bumper to bumper warranty. I bought the car in March 2016, so the full warranty is good until March 2019 or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first
5 years, 60,000 miles, powertrain warranty, which essentially covers the engine, transmission, and driveline. This is good until March 2021 or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first
There are other parts of the warranty as well, like rust perforation warranty, seatbelt warranty, etc.

Here are a few of the key features of the Forester XT Touring:
Turbo charged, direct-injected engine that makes 250 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This is essentially the same motor as the 2015+ Subaru WRX.
Eyesight: includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, lane-departure warning, and fog lamps that turn with the steering wheel.
Keyless Access: keep your key in your pocket or purse! When you grab the door handle to open the door, it automatically unlocks the door. It also has push button start, so no need to insert and turn a key.

The car has been sold to Morries. I had a great experience, and they were easy to work with.

If anyone ends up buying the car (VIN is JF2SJGXC1GH518761) you are welcome to reach out to me with questions, and I can share the whole maintenance history. FYI, the car was wired for a Compustar remote start system. The module was removed, but the wiring is still in place. So if you want remote start, all you need are the right Compustar modules and programming.
