For sale: 86 Subaru wagon GL (make offer)

    I am selling my wagon which is a 1986 5 spd GL(silver) (power windows,power mirrors,power steering, redefroster,4wd) 131k miles Drove it all last winter and started in the cold weather!

    Interior:
    -Driver side seat tore on the side
    -a few stains on back seat from previous owner before me
    - Passenger side switch for window is shot, but rolls down with main switch DS
    -Lock on inside door broke a little chunk off(still lockable)
    -Eclipse cd player
    - new blower motor
    - gas gauge just quit working

    Exterior:
    -Rusty(not to bad for rust) rocker,back quarters bottem of front fender
    -Block heater, Battery warmer
    - No lock in key hole on passenger side
    - windshield cracked

    Engine/Drivetrain:
    -New brakes(all around)
    - good condition master cylinder
    - new water pump
    - good condition timing belt (Look at when put water pump in)
    -new tires
    - Passenger side CV axle new
    - straight pipe (sounds like a V8 ) ;)
    -rebuilt alternator
    - good condition radiator
    - new battery
    - new thermosat
    - new cap and rotor
    - carb was looked over by subaru dealership today 7-08-05
    - new air filter

    cough, chux these ust keep popping up, and i know you stil have room in your yard.

    is the 4WD dual range?

    yes, it is, but it's also a carbed motor. it's virtually exactly the same as my '85 was, I don't need any more, but I may know some other people who do.

    modifiedlegacy, post this up on www.ultimatesubaru.net it'll get more looks from people into older subies there. There will be people willing to drive out to pick up a good one!

    Well i had the price at 850 but then i reduced it to 650!! THe pictures are above under all of the details about the wagon!! It may take awhile depends on your connection speed..

    I am sure i am keeping the wagon now!! I am selling my legacy to get my friends impreza so that will have to get me by!! :D Is yours fuel injected??

    yep, the FI helps a bunch...but the carb's aren't horrible, just takes more careful tuning.
