Some rust present, also dings and such. I have been collecting and adding to my bugeyes for over 10 years. So i’ll try to get everything in here! Engine Mods: -2010 2.5L EJ257 STi full shortblock with nitrated crank. -2.0L heads matched.(Hybrid build as they call it) I bought this short block brand spanking new from Morries Minnetonka. Engine was built by argueably the best Subaru engine builder in the state, Matt from RS Motors! @bikerboy. The block currently has 85,000 miles on it and is running strong! -2008 VF48 turbo from an STi. Rebuilt last year by Midwest Turbo connection in Hudson. Turbo mileage is just under 11,000 miles. Running full recirc with stock BPV at 19psi. -STi top mount intercooler thermal coated black by GrimmSpeed. -Intake manifold thermal coated black by GrimmSpeed. -GrimmSpeed lightweight crank pulley, BCS, JDM air splitter, alternator cover. -APS 3” hard inlet pipe. -(i have an SPT short ram intake and heat shield that will come with the car as well) -Tuned by Devin at JM Automotive. I have the dyno plots. Conservatively tuned at right around 300HP. I also had it tuned for the low end. I don’t need “top end” power on the street, so i had it tuned to come on asap! -Koyo aluminum radiator. -Brand new ID 1000cc injectors. -Walboro 255 fuel pump. -Stromung divorced downpipe. -Espelir JGT 500 catback exhaust. Exterior Mods: -OEM front lip spats. -OEM rear bumper spats. -2004 STi sideskirts. -JDM STi hood scoop. -JDM “replica” grill. -Blue “i” badge. -35% window tint. -20% eyebrow on windshield. -tinted tail lights.(vinyl) -blacked out headlights that have been restored and then wrapped in 3M clear film to keep them new. -STi spoiler that was color matched by Abra in Roseville. (ALL VINYLS WILL BE REMOVED BEFORE SALE! Unless you want any of them left on ) -AGX 4 way adjustable struts with STi springs. -17” Rota SDr’s painted white with blue “time attack” lips. -yellow fog light film. -led tail lights that flash three times and then go solid when braking. Bought from SBLeds online. Interior Mods: -2004 STi seats and door cards. -2007 STi rear seat with pass through. -STi blue carpet. -Grey interior was all blacked out. -WeatherTech floor liners(front only). -Subaru rubber all weather mats in the back. -Dash color has been converted from green lighting to blue. -two gauge cluster pod surround.(gauges are not functioning) -stock 6 disc cd player. -Polk audio front door speakers. -Boston Acoustic rear door speakers. -OEM “Carbon Fiber” dash surrounds. -black shifter trim ring. -Viper car alarm with 1 alarm fob. -JDM red hazard switch. Recent maintenance: -Had all of the engine bay fuel lines and clamps replaced at JMA.(no more fuel smell) -new outer tie rod ends. -New ID 1000cc injectors installed by JMA. -Recently tuned by Devin at JMA. This car has bever been raced and i’ve daily driven it as long as i’ve owned it. I LOVE driving my Subarus...I don’t know how people put them away in the winter! Lol. Unless you changed the tranny it’s got a JDM RA 5 speed that was put in the car (new) when the car had 100k on it. Cost $4000 at the time.
Were you the one who sold it to Sang? He had it lowered with stretched tires on it when i got it from him, with pieces of cam gears all over the engine bay. Lol What stood out that made you realize that?
I sold it back in 2012. I owned it for 4 years. It looks very different, but the turbo turtle by the license plate is the dead giveaway.
He must not have had it very long. I think that I bought it in 2014 and we swapped the hybrid motor in. That just makes this an even better deal! STi block with RA gears. It has big enough injectors for more horsepower. And it could also get swapped to e85 easily. I tuned it at 300hp because i was worried about the trans, so with that news, the juice could get cranked up!
It always "felt" very fast because (I believe) the gears are short ratio. It definitely should add value to the buyer.

I did it for the lullz. Last time that i had to stop in Gary, the cashier behind the bulletproof glass said, “you ain’t from around here is ya?” Hahaha
About right probably. On par with the bleach smell as they cleaned up the lobby at the hotel we stopped at in East Joliet, IL near a warehouse district. I personally enjoyed the small cashier outside of Atlanta making fun of the guy threatening to kill him with a gun and the prostitutes offering to pump our gas on the South side of Chicago.
