if you are planning on debadging or destriping and never done it before or just worried about chipping or scratching paint please let me help you... i have tools at work especially for this purpose... it will only take me about 5 minutes for all badges and you will not have any adhesive or scratches left behind...
pm me for an appointment or just swing into abra autobody in chanhassen off highway 5 next to mcdonalds between 10-3 weekdays...

free of charge ofcourse but lunch would be appreciated... (please no sack lunch)

    Question?

My Subie is already debadged... So I won't need that assistance, however, I have a few door dings that I'd like to have looked at to see it they can be pulled out!

Do you do any work on minor dings and dents?

If so I'd like to possibly make an appt. or have it looked at...

    Thanks :)

I used a hairdyer and dental floss and goo gone. I'd be interested to see what else works.

My friend did it to his passat and all he did was pull the badges off by hand and then used goo gone. I was going to do the same thing to my wrx because his car looks fine. I assume thats not a good idea though after reading this.

this thread was proclaimed as spam on my part and removed... but i stated simply that i am not gaining anything and i wanted to help out in person rather than over the internet
i use a plastic squeegee and a urethane stripe removing wheel... it's what body shops use when they take of pinstripes and adhesive left from moldings and badges

well the adhesive is rather rigid so if you wanted to do it by hand you could use a heat gun(hair dryer) or just let it sit in the sun on a hot day but there is the potential of scratching paint with the edges

I was putting a better horn in the car today and took the front badge off. I just might take you up on the rear debadge. I am not sure when I could get down there durning the week though. It will probably be a while.
