i have an eibach prokit on the wrx for awhile now and i'm pretty sure this wasn't happening before i put them on so i was just wondering if anyone else there has this problem.

the thing is...when i'm driving...a cars pulls behind me...no matter how far(1-1.5 blocks) back...it looks like they're hi-beaming me. no matter if it's a suv or sedan or anything....i have my rear view mirror block that out but when you look at the side mirrors...every light from behind is blinding.

just wondering if this happens to any of you out there with aftermarket springs...

i dont know if you could blame it on lowering but yea it sucks especially when its one of those lifted behemoths behind you. all i do now is just look into my sti's rearview because it has the autodimmer, something you definitely will have to live with.

Happens all the time and yes it is annoying as hell. Best advice I can give is adjust your side mirror to tilt a little more or just lean a little bit towards your drivers window so your mirrors arn't exactly lined up with your face. Thats about the only thing you can do

I keep my side mirrors pointed to see cars in my blind spot. Ever since I did that I don't get blinded by trucks anymore.

The way I do it: Lean my head against my window. Move mirror out until I can barely see the side of my car with my head against the window. Mimic for the passenger's side mirror.

Another benefit to getting springs with stockish ride height. I never thought of that. Thanks. ;)

The lower you go, the more their light beam from their headlights are gonna get at your mirrors. A lot of cars have their lights higher nowadays too. And them SATURNS can't seem to turn off their HIGHBEAMS AT ALL!

Ditto. Added benefit, blind spots are eliminated and there's almost never a need to look back beyond the door frame.
