KYB AGX RS sedan struts - Prodrive 05+ STI springs

I got a chance to give the new setup a little shakedown at an auto-x test & tune sunday and get a feel for the new spring rates and to play with strut dampening adjustments.

Previous was oem struts + Swift FXT springs. The Swifts were a good step in the right direction, a little drop and better rates than stock. The AGX + Prodrive is a good step further. The springs are starting to get on the stiff side, and the dampers give a range of adjustment from slightly underdampened for daily putzing around town to well matched to the springs for sport use to pointless and just making chassis movements sluggish which is kind of humorous in itself, lol.

The car felt good on the course. Body roll is way down. Ride is firmer but pleasant enough with the damping set low. I'm running a stock front bar and 20mm rear bar. Handling balance is still a hair understeer, but you can turn in a bit and get it to rotate. Cornering grip is up a little bit overall. Part of the course was a 200 ft skidpad. On warm tires(RE01R), if my math is right, it's a little over 1G lateral which is mighty fine on crap alignment.

Mmm, I'm enjoying this setup, even just putzing around town, however, being used to the lanky Forester, ground clearance bugs me a little. I'm not quite sure what I can and can't go over, lol:laugh:
