Got this game a few days ago so lets start this since GT4 sucks!(i kid i kid) Any input on how we should do this? Maybe arcade time trials or arcade exhibition? yeah thats why i didnt just make it a online tournoment.. it would be hard for most ppl to do it.. but its kinda weird setting it up cause im thinking should it be like choose track and a car/car class? or should it be time trials where ppl have to do what game wants and people can tune there car still to get better times.. see who can do best on each track and keep a mnsubaru forza time trial record? lol

I just laid down a 41.751 after about 5 laps. My previous best was 44.3, I really found some time in that fast pair of left-handers. Edit: 41.659
43.138 was the best I could pull off...Im not sure how you were able to pull off a 41 but thats damn fast, good job. The fastest any has ever done is a 40.420...I have no idea what Im doing wrong, haha

My best was 1.01.542 A 59.176 means your in the top 700/104,000 people,I dont see much room for improvement.
I say there's room for improvement since I had .2 sec in penalty time on that lap. I think it was ranked #704 or #708.

43.897 on my 3rd lap :biggrin: I think that was a freak lap for me, I tried 11 laps after setting that time and only got one more lap in the 43's. Only had ABS on.
god i dont know how to even get to 46 secs on this one.. do u guys drift or control the car? i think i tryed controlling it around corners only
Control and grip is always faster than "drift" on tar. Ramp into that throttle smoothly at a controlled rate as you ease the steering back straight. The most important corners are the ones that enter into long straightaways. Focus on your exits of those corners, keep traction out of those turns, and you will see your times drop. The exits of the 3 hairpins on Tsukuba Short are the key turns. You need to maintain grip while laying down the power out of those turns.
