    (I had never realized just how ****ty my laptop monitor displays color and contrast until I shot this set today - I edit on a seperate monitor and the quality difference is like night and day - so if you're on a laptop these might look really flat)

    yea lol

    what brand laptop? I think toshiba just has a crappy screen - it displays sub bar and is very very angle sensitive. my compaq was much better

    it was off of 61 by redwing (something like 46?)

    What monitor are you using for editing?

    I am having a hard time giving up my CRTs, since the LCDs I have tried really overdo the contrast/saturation - which actually looks great until you try to print it, then it looks completely flat and dull. Whereas with the CRT, if looks good on screen, it will typically look good from the printer.

    it's an LG lcd - I've calibrated it by making large prints (12x8), adjusting and re-printing (when I would make prints from the laptop they were horribly underexposed and over contrasted)
