As the title says, it would be paid for by me to do 3 pulls so I have a basline to go against for my 2015 that is already a COBB Stage 2. Trying to figure out if my numbers are in line modified from a stock 2015 before I start digging in and have their Stage 3 Flex Fuel package done. You must have a completely stock 2015. PM me if interested, thank you!
Im sure someone will take you up on this and its your money but...does it even matter? Do you feel like there is something wrong with your car and you don't have the power you should? Also, the 2015 STI is same old EJ25 and same trans and gear ratios. I am sure you can find TONS of baseline numbers for STI's on DB's dyno that would be good enough for any bragging or analysis you would want them for.
Yes, it matters to me as I am stepping through each stage and upgrading. It absolutely DOES NOT have anything to do with bragging rights, I just want to be happy and content with my upgrade path...there is always someone with more money and a faster car, you completely misinterpreted my logic and reason from your earlier response. Someone mentioned that my numbers seemed low, so for curiosity's sake I offered up to have someone dyno the 2015 or 2016 stock to get baseline numbers since DB has not dyno'd a stock 2015 or 2016 on their Dyno, they have baseline #'s for a 2013 and 2014 but the ECU mapping as we all know changed from the factory for the 2015's and 2016's, many people on other forums are reporting that the 2015+ are making anywhere from 10-20whp more vs. the 2013 and 2014, so DB's 2013 and 2014 numbers don't give me a baseline that is reliable to go from. Having a stock car dyno'd on DB's dyno gives me an overall better picture as I step through each stage so I know where things are at, eventually I will get it custom tuned, but for now I would just like to use the OTS maps and staged packages.
If anything completely serious without being an asshole, the best advice right now would be get a real tune first because as we all know too well the OTS tunes are a recipe for blown motor on the EJ25. Do what you want about the baseline thing that is your prerogative. But before you go WOT one more time I would get a pro tune. You can even have Shane do it while you are there getting the baseline from someone's stock car.
Ok, enough. I wasn't asking for all this opinion...let it be known I have heard all your comments. The thread was to find someone who wants to dyno their stock 2015 or 2016 at my expense, offer still stands. Thanks.
Good grief, seriously???! I appreciate that people want to offer up opinion or suggestions, but that wasn't the title of the thread or what I was looking for. I am trying to be kind here and not be a prick, but people sure like to poke and prod.
Are you planning to dyno your car immediately after you get the baseline off the stock car? So that the dyno is setup the same and you have the same weather conditions for your car as the stock car?
Yes, that is my plan, and I am glad you suggested and reminded me of that because in all honesty I would have forgotten, thank you again for the reminder!
Seriously though, I found you someone.. Pm me and I'll try and connect you two. I don't agree with what you're trying to accomplish, but if money is no object, I'll help you spend it. Btw, these guys might be assholes and make witty comments, but they aren't wrong. You should really go the protune route. I've always called the ots tunes "close enough" tunes
Yes, I agree with all you guys about going a protune route, eventually I will do that. And I am sure what I think is piffy probably is just good fun and sarcasm, the problem is knowing that from behind a screen things don't always come off that way.
This is one of the most pointless things I've ever seen. Stock baseline from car to car can vary greatly. Either de-mod your car for a baseline run, or preferably just stop caring about this pointless stuff.
