ok, i got a HKS SSQV bov with a STi flange or WRX or maybe they are the same. I don't need the flange. I've tried taking off the flange but can't with the needle nose i have. If you take it off for me you can keep the flange, as i only need the bov. I live in cottage grove, i can meet up in st. paul too. my # is 651 428-2793, call only after 3pm!!
Go to your nearest auto parts store and pick up a snap-ring pliers for about 5 bucks and you can get it off yourself if you want. Getting that off with a needlenose would be very difficult. -Steve
i've try that and the ring would just not fully come all the way in and slide out or maybe i just suck at taking out the snap-rings as i never really have any good luck w/them.
Use a flatheaded screwdriver and once the ring gets pulled far enough out of the slot, jam and pry it out with the screw driver. That's what I always do. -Steve
