I just installed Kartboy Endlinks and didn't have the bolts tight enough. The car made awful clunk noises, which drove me crazy. Then I lost a bolt entirely and one rubber bushing on a rear endlink. So I called Kartboy, and they sent me 2 new bushings and the metal sleeve in between. It arrived 2 days later and they only charged me $5 for shipping. Talk about great service. Now I've got the bolts on tight and the noise has gone, and I'm happy. Anyways, I only need one of two rubber bushings. So if you've lost one, hit me up...

I wonder if this could be my problem. My car has started making a noise when I go over some bigger bumps and it is really loud.

I torqued the bolts on the endlinks where they attach to the A-Arms at factory specs, 33 ft-lbs.

Did that end up fixing your problem? When I had my car in for a oil change I had them look at it and they told me it was because I didn't have the inslators in the bottom of the strut, but i'm sure we put them back in there when we did my spings. I think I will tighten those end link nuts and see if that does anything...

There's still a little noise when going over stuff at low speeds, but the difference is night and day.

Hah. I did this same thing with my front endlinks the first time I installed them. I also lost a rubber bushing in the process. I made sure to use different washers and tighten the suckers down hard the second time.

This thread really makes me want to get the Perrin endlinks instead of the Whitelines.
