i think a bunch of people are leaving friday morning. so itd be pretty sweet if we could caravan up

10am firestone? does that work for everyone?'

plan on being there by 3pm so it leaves us a couple of hours to race in the light

Wait, so now we have a group leaving Friday at 3pm and 6pm? Why would anyone leave Friday morning? If you can leave Friday morning, why not just leave Thursday night?

Friday morning works nicely for me because I will have a lot of work to get done on thursday, and also, I'd rather drive up when its light out. I'm not a fan of long stretches of highways packed with deer, especially when my eyes are getting tired.

I might make it. I know that I have a hockey game thursday night that I HAVE to be there for. I was planning on leaving friday morning anyways, but I will definitly not be in a group that is going to haul ass. I am driving my truck, so anything after 75 and I might as well pour the gas in the intake with a 5 gallon bucket.

cause soem people work thursday and dont friday so if you can leave in the morning friday WHY wait till 3pm or 6pm just to caravan up with some other guys who may or may not speed...???

we leave at 10am.. be up there before you guys even leave, then we get a few hours of ripping up the course in daylight hours before the rest of you drunkin buffoons start ripping it up.. cause thats when I want to be off the ice and watching and laughing my arse off...

and as I stated in the original FRIDAY crew posting... FS may not be the best as it is a business and taking up their parking spots just aint nice when they are nice enough to let us use it after hours... so lets either do the asian place across the street... or find a spot North of the cities that we can all meet at and make the journey.... at 10AM ha hah a h

K, time is getting close. Where do we want to meet up?? I was thinking something like Forest lake or so. That way people everyone will be through the cities and all heading north. For me to meet at firestone I will have to drive back into the cities to meet everyone, and I am sure I am not the only one coming from the north side. There are also food places and a couple of gas stations for everyone to top off at before we hit the road. Ideas, comments, suggestions??

    I agree.

I should be able to meet up Friday morn. Gotta callin sick:biggrin: But N of the cities would be ideal. Is everyone planning on taking 65 the whole way up to Hibbing or 169? I think 65 would be a bit better, but thats just me.

Ill be ready in the AM. Damn I cant wait to take a day off to drive my car north and get drunk and do all sorts of crazy things. Sounds like a good morning crew. Make sure everyone remembers their radios, ill actualy remember for once and bring a spare. the forcasts are all changing to lower temps since the snow is down and maybe snow on our drive up!

well typically when we go up north the metro guys meet at the china lot/firestone, then stop in forrest lake to pick up the north metro guys. we might as well just plan on sticking with what we normally do because it has worked well in the past.

well I aint swinging all the way into Uni Ave when i can stay on 35W to meet up with everyone... so whoever wants to do that can... me, Bill and whomever comes from this side of the cities will probably be easier to just go straight to WHATEVER the meeting place in FORREST LAKE is.... by 10am...

wrxboy2003 and I are going to be meeting at the SA/Mcdonalds on 169 and anderson lakes parkway at 9ish to caravan from there, all are welcome. I say since friday is a business day we all just meet at the target in forest lake at 10, they have a big parking lot and we can park away from the entrance to accomodate the group.

If josh is tangled, then meet us at 9 would be a lot of back tracking for him. I think we should take 100 up to 694 since there would be less traffic then trying to deal with 35 through mpls. I would think we could call him at some point and if he catches us great, if not we see him at target in fl.
