friday the 13th is bad luck

Soooo, on the way to work today I must have hit something because at lunch I noticed that one of my tires was flat. Took it to Discount tire to fix it but the hole is to big, have to order a new tire. This is on the new Kumho's I just put on Tues with my Rota Tarmac II's. Can't believe this. This also is my second flat of the week, the tires that are on my stockers had a flat tues morning before I put the new wheels/tires that day and now this. What luck? The only good thing is the tread is good enough that I can order 1 new tire and not replace the whole set. The bad thing is they won't have it till next week. [/rant]


Just figured I would share that with you guys

 

That sucks, I hate flat tires. The last one I got on my RS luckily I felt when it was going low and hobbled to a tire store only blocks away. Since I replaced all those crappy potenza's and put new perelli's on there I haven't had any tire problems.

should be ok unless you were getting silly fresh sideways on them since last week...


if the tread depth of the remaining tires is 7/32nds or more just replace the bad one ....
if the tread depth of the remaining tires is less that 7/32nds shave a new tire to match the others..

 

The tires aren't brand new, around 4,000 miles, but new to me. Thanks for the tip. Wasn't going crazy sideways, though that would be fun, I hit something on both occasions.
