friend now wants to buy an STi

I've got a friend that has a Saleen Mustang (S2-something). We swapped cars and did a few test drives. All I can say about his mustang is it sure sounded better than my Subaru, but that being said, he wants to trade his car in for an STi now. His car was "ok", but wasn't that hot on the corners or going 90+mph, plus - I know this is hard to believe, but true... Mine accelerated a whole lot faster. When I put the throttle to the floor on his car, I can scratch going through the gears, but it didn't push you back in the seat like a well tuned STi.

Nice! I'll send the link to my friend. If he gets it, he's going to want to race me all the time. What's bad is he'll probably win now...

 

My insurance agent was considering selling his black 2006 STi because he was thinking about going the "luxury" path. Let me know if you're interested. He said that the buyer will pay for the rest of the payments... IIRC, about $32-33,000.

 

The next time I see him I'll let him know... Are you talking about taking over the payments? Or refinancing the balance?

 

I'm not totally sure. If you're friend's serious, I'll contact my ins agent and connect them.
