Hey guys! My name is Matt Wirtz. I'm a new owner of the 05 STi that belonged to STIDan. I searched hard for an 04-07 STi within my budget in the whole state and finally dan's came up. So happy with the car right now too beside it needing new brake pads. Thanks dan! I come from the honda game but left it for a more mature car that at the moment I'm not tempted to mod just to make as a better daily driver for me. I currently still own but will be up for sale, a 1994 Honda Accord Ex Coupe. Mods on the honda included: Aftermarket header, test pipe, catback exhaust with an Aspec universal 2.5" muffler Short ram intake Tein S-Tech springs on Tokico Illumina struts Greddy Gracer front lip Depo clear corners (reps of the original jdm clear markers) ...and security, sound, and all that nonsense I will miss that car but here is a picture that recently was on the back cover on modified mag's readers ride addition another And now the impreza. 85,5xx on the clock, OBP paint. Mods done by Dan Stage 2: -Invidia V2 downpipe -Maddad midpipe w/stock muffler (great sounding w/o being obnoxious) -Bullwinkle tune -Walboro 255 fuel pump -Grimmspeed boost control solenoid -IXIZ air/oil seperator -Goodridge stainless steel brake lines -Hawk front pads -3M clear bra -Tinted windows 2 pics from yesterday. Getting it detailed this/next week before I bring it to import alliance Pics:
Welcome. Keep driving the STi and you'll forget all about the Honda. Dan assures me he'll be back in a subaru someday, I'll holding him to it.
I have a feeling just by the way he talked about the car that he won't be giving up subaru lol. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Any of you going to Import Alliance? Also, any meets coming up or a way I can maybe chill with a few of you and get an extra crash course to dan's old car so I know it as well as my honda? Oh and forgot to add I am the youngest owner of this car at nearly 22. But a mature driver no worries. I'm a Senior Mechanical Engineering student at Milwaukee School of Engineering
That's not saying much, Dan's an old man Check out the events section there is normally something going on around town. Be sure to poke around the entire site let us know what ya think. That particular car is a basic "stage 2" setup. Most people around here have/do run with the same basic mods.
And a new alternator! I stopped to check in on him when his battery died. Great looking car that is for sure and he kept up on it very well.
Noob question lol but how the hell do you get the oem fog outer covers off to put on the STi ones? I'm afraid to break it not knowing the proper way of unclipping it lol
Hey and welcome. nice looking rides. I was a ME at MSOE too!!!! I'm pretty sure I've seen your Accord around there before. You're gonna like it around here. A lot of nice people and MOST of us get along
I want to but the rents want me to sell it. If i had a cheap/free storage place I could maybe keep it
