To start i know its hard to move used clutch parts as who would want to put used parts in when its such a pita to change the stuff out. That said these parts were just in to good of shape to just throw away. Have been in the car for apx. 30k. Throwout bearing was making a ton of noise and needs to be replaced and the pilot bearing dosen't feal the best. That said i would highly reccomend anyone getting these to replace both bearings or if you want for a extra $100 i can get you oem replacements for both bearings. Also want to add the clutch hooked up just fine it was just a issue when you would shift because of the throw out bearing. Also all the clutch parts were installed at the same time so they are all bedded properly. With correct clutch break in.
yes i do. it has some surface rust but i can clean it up tonight if you like or you can take it how it is.
can you post a pic of a straight edge on pressure plate face, and how do you go about replacing the throw out bearing?
i will try and get the pressure plate cleaned up as well clear of surface rust and place a straight edge on it. The throw out bearing just pops out of the fingures that hold it in. For a better description of how that works and the shape that these parts are in im sure sheen would be able to answer your questions as he was the one that removed the parts from my car when i changed over to the 6spd setup.
Cleaned up.surface rust on pressure plate. Hard to get a good.image of straight edge on it but it was flat and had no weird wear on flywheel preasure plate or clutch disk. All 3 items were brand new so they have been mated to each other with proper 500 mile clutch break in.
