^^actually it looks about right for that dyno and a vf39. put it on a mustang dyno and it will read even lower. Congrats on the build.
Thanks for the comments everyone...its not your average "tuner" car, that's for sure The FMIC is the thickest and widest one you can install on this vehicle...the inside of the bumper had to be trimmed a fair amount, so, the front of the FMIC does extend farther forward than any other FMIC you'll find.
$21,000...keep in mind that I spent that amount and then some on all of the mods alone. So, you basically pay for all of the mods and you get the base car for free
:eek3: the price comes out, and a silence falls over the crowd.... its basically EXACTLY what my friend is looking for, but for $21,000.... :ugh:
^yeah, its around the cost of a used STI. Good luck, theres a buyer, just gonna be harder to find em.
Thanks for the honest feedback guys...unfortunately, I'm all too aware of the experiences others have had, but, I just can't bring myself to part the thing out and have a "going back to stock" sale...I just can't do it. I'd definitely be farther ahead if I wend that route, but, the build is perfect as is, completely sorted-out, and it'd be a shame to gut the thing. So, although it will be difficult to find a buyer, I'm hoping there is someone out there that wants exactly what I have WITHOUT having to do all of the work, testing, etc. Thanks again for the honest feedback...it is appreciated.
Have you tried Ebay? There are some people why might be interested in the car. GL with sale, this car is beauty.
Thanks for the GL and the suggestions, but, yup, she's posted on Ebay as we speak along with a whole host of other sites, and although I don't expect it to sell anytime soon, I'm sure it'll go by the end of the year. In the meantime, I'll just keep enjoying it
Hey, I remember that trailer up in the first post. But something is missing from it....... Oh yeah, that's right. It's missing a bunch of banner tape all over the back of it!!! Good luck with the sale Jody. Can't wait to see you guys in August. We all had a blast de-bannering with you last year. Erik D
BAHAHAHAHa...hey Erik! You dogs...bhaha...yeah, you got us good, but, our cousin got you better. For the record, it was HIS idea. So, hopefully you lads will keep that in mind come the Ojibwe debannering debacle to come! We're definitely looking forward to the event and seeing everyone again. Needless to say, we'll definitely be there...you can count on it Best regards, Jody.
Added price to your op. IMHO, you are still way way over the actual book value of your car, but that's been mentioned before. Good luck with your sale.
Wow, I have basically the same car minus the FMIC and 6 spd, except when I was selling mine I was asking 13.8k, and mine makes more power and has 20,000 less miles. Good luck with the sale though, I don't think you'll ever get what you're asking.
