A few years back i thought i might have been going through the 1/2 syncrhos on my WRX. Being i wanted to also start doing pro-solo events (see: Launch like a bat out of hell) I decided i would preemptively replace my gearbox with an 05 one, and keep the 04 around for a functional spare should i explode it. Well, explode the 05 never happened, and the car is up for sale. no more need for this spare gearbox. It's perfectly functional and has about 70k miles on it. the 1-2 shift wasn't as perfectly smooth as it was originally, but in no way was it bad. this was more than likely due to me using scotty's ****ty cocktail. I have no reason this won't shift perfectly with a good fill of Extra-S It's complete, sans one axle seal I stole to replace one that didn't fit on the new box, and the plug that keeps the clutch fork in place, which i should have a replacement for. This transmission has MALE axle stubs built in, so it will pair to axles with FEMALE inner CVs. No Pics, because it's currently located in New Prague, and I'm not.
