I am selling my 06 GSX-R 600 with 9086 miles. I rode this bike off the dealer lot in April of 06 with 0 miles on the odometer. This bike has been my baby its entire life but I have had to make the tough decision to sell it for both financal reasons and I don't have much time to ride anymore. I am an automotive dealership technician and I take great pride in all the work I do. So every single modification was done with extreme attention to detail, and perfect fitment. I believe that when modifying anything, you should do as good of a job, if not better than a factory engineer would do. You won't be able to find a motorcycle with as good of modifications as this one has. It runs as good as it did brand new. No noises, vibrations or problems. Oil was changed every 1000 miles because the way I see it, it's the cheapest way to make sure the engine will last forever. All maint recomended by Suzuki was done at or before the recommend intervals. This bike purrs like a kitten. Both tires are in great shapeand it has never been crashed. Please serious inquiries only. No test rides unless ready to buy.
    $5500 obo

    Performance modifications:
    - HR1 Riot series exhaust
    - BMC race air filter
    - Secondary throttle plates removed
    - SET valve removed
    - Air box ported to match flow of exhaust based of flow bench testing done by Hard Rock Motorsports
    - +4 degree Factory Pro ignition advance rotor
    - Vortex lighweight sprockets -1 front and +1 rear
    - PAIR valve removed and resistor installed
    - Cooling fan over ride "ON" switch designed and installed
Switch won't prevent ECU from turning fan on as intended
    - Moto GP style shift pattern
    1 up, 5 down
    - BF Goodrich stainless steel braided brake lines

    - Custom TEKA dyno tune with 119 HP at the rear wheel!

    Body Modifications:
    - Hotbodies dark smoke double bubble windshield
    - Custom made seat that is WAY more comfortable than both the stock seat and the Corbin seat that I had on it
    - Fender eliminator kit
    - Vortex Frame sliders (never had to be used)
    - Vortex swingarm spool sliders (never had to be used)
    - 599 factory looking stickers installed in place of original 600 stickers
    - Clear tank pad
    - 10K temp HID's installed for both High and Low beams

    Unique modifications
    - Handlebars packed with 12 guage practice shot to greatly reduce vibration in handlebars at highway speeds
    - Custom I-pod mount on triple tree (can be easily removed if wanted)
    - Passing light switch now operates a rolling code garage door opener installed in trunk
Wired so it will only operate when key is in the ON position. That way, if you park outside someone can't open your garage door.
    - Suzuki Dealer Mode switch installed in trunk
If check engine light were to ever come on you can retreive the codes before they would be erased when the key is turned off.
    - Standard Green coolant flushed out and replaced with Subaru's Blue Super Coolant
Subaru's Super Coolant is the same type of coolant as standard green but lasts 3-4 times longer and is better chemically balanced and stable.

Thanks guys. The pipe is solid. That stainless band around the middle of it is bolted to a factory exhaust mount right above it.

Good news is I'm pretty good at ignoring negative criticisim. Thanks for the info on Mr. nitelite and the compliment though. Some people on here may have seen it before. I'm a tech at Burnsville Subaru and ride it to work all the time in the summer.

I actually have Mondays off. But I was in for a benefits meeting and the tech next to me had your front bumper off to replace the headlights and security beeper. I know I have worked on your car before though.

If I think your serious about buying it when you are out to look at it and have some cash to put down. And of course theres the standard motorcyclists contract of: You crash it you buy it.

It would be like if I asked, "Who is COBB?" TEKA is a fuel mapping software for Suzuki motorcycle ECU's.

TEKA is a fuel mapping software that reprograms the factory ECU. A power commander yields similar results, but it is a piggyback system so it modifys injector pulsewidth after the signal leaves the ECU. TEKA actually modifys ECU programming via a diagnostic connector, then is removed from the bike, and the results stay. Both are tuning methods typically used on a dyno.

I looked at my stack of 1/4 mile time slips. I thought they had 0-60 on them but they don't. I was able to run very consistently at 11.1 sec 123-124 mph. My 1/8th mile was always 101-103 mph at 7.2 sec. My best times were 10.977 1/4 at 125 mph, 7.103 1/8 at 103.24 mph. My 60ft on that run was amazing at 1.824 sec. The only difference on that run was that I didn't warm my tire up in the burnout box. Turns out a little spinning off the line keeps the RPM's up enough to get me out of the hole a little quicker.

Yeah... I know I will have much better luck when the snow is gone, but its not a necessity to sell right now. I figure it can't hurt to list it now. Who knows, I might just end up finding a buyer.
