I bought this bike about a year ago, as a project/beginners bike. Since then I've put about 3k miles on it. And over $2,500 not including purchase price of the bike. The bike has been maintained by BlueCat Motors, specializing in old school imports and cafe bikes. In short, I've done the following: Last August: new battery new rectifier plugs tune-up rebuilt carbs clubman bars/Beneli grips This spring: (the short version) Tune up with valve adj Oil and filter change Sych carbs, set idle speed Replace spark plugs New throttle, clutch and speedo cable Reset timing, replace points New chain and sprocket Countershaft, pushrod, shiftshaft oil seal replacement Rewire headlight control and charging system New headlight Rebuild front fork Replace headset bearings Wrap exhaust This spring I spent over $2k. The bike runs fantastically. Three weeks ago I took it on a two day 900mi trip around Northern MN. At this point, you could literally hop on this bike and go (as far as you wanted). The pipes are in awesome shape, seat is in great shape. Tank and side covers are in good shape, but if I kept the bike longer I would sand and respray. Inside of tank is clean (no rust). Seriously, all of the expensive stuff has been done and within the 1,200 mi. Bike has 20k miles on it. $1,750 $25 to you/club if it sells here. NE MPLS
Beautiful ride man, and it looks well taken care of. If I wasn't on the hunt for a Goldwing to strip down, I'd be all over this. Bump for a super clean, reliable classic Honda!
