THIS IS A SALVAGE TITLE DUE TO HAIL DAMAGE but otherwise it runs very well.

Priorities are a-changing in the Etchy household and I'm seriously considering selling my Legacy. This is the Playskool Legacy. The body panels are beat to **** from last spring's hail storm but other than that it's in good mechanical shape. I've spent a lot of time on the suspension and when I tracked it last fall it was running awesome. Currently the car is in storage in Kansas but if anyone is seriously interested in buying it I can get it in July when I come home on leave. It makes a great daily driver (bad gas mileage but seriously fun), a great snow car (I have a set of winter tires on some bent rims I'll throw in. Dunlop Graspic DS-2 with about 65% tread left), and a lot of fun on the track. The suspension is very adjustable and I currently have 2.5 degrees of camber up front with 1.5 in the rear with room for a bit more up front. The LSD is from a 1991 T-leg and is quite rare. The crown jewel is recently installed Group-N bushings on the whole car. No more slop from ancient rubber and none of the deterioration issues you'll find with poly bushings.

The engine is in great condition as far as I can tell. Timing belt was changed about 20k miles ago along with the water and oil pumps. New plug wires, fresh plugs (they are copper for performance and I've got a few extra sets to pass on to the new owner). It does have some drivetrain noises but as far as I and my mechanic can tell they are just rattles from wither the downpipe or the MBC since it isn't strapped down tight. The engine is ready for a monster upgrade since it's the closed deck 2.2T block. If I were to keep the car I would upgrade the transmission to a WRX t-case with different PPG gearing and put a WRX VLSD in the rear.

All in all what you'd get is a ready-to-race car with lots of future potential. It's also rare and getting rarer by the day.

So why am I selling? Like I said initially priorities are changing in my house. Project cars require large amounts of cash to work on and I'm beyond all the basic cheap upgrades. At this point I'm looking at major purchases of thousands of dollars to upgrade and frankly my family comes first. I would love this car to go to another enthusiast who can complete the dream and make this car the awesome beast that I won't be able to complete without destroying my marriage.

Asking price with race rubber is $4,000 obo.

Email me at [email protected] for serious discussion. I don't get on the forums as much as I'd like so don't expect any sort of timely response via PM.

    Thanks,
    -Greg
