I have a well setup 95 240sx I used for Road Racing for a few years. I recently had the motor refreshed with a lot of new parts and was in the process of upgrading the turbo to top mount, but my priorities have changed. The motor has been installed and all that is left is you'll need a turbo of your choice, a downpipe and get it tuned. I will be including all the new plumbing hardware and lines with the sale. I had the previous owner install a quick steering system to help improve the response. This car originally came from Seattle WA so there's no rust and has never seen Mn winter. This car is setup for road racing and Autox and is very well balanced. Drifting this car is very easy as it has very neutral handling characteristics. The new owner will love this car. I've always wanted a turbo 240sx. My buddy in high school had a NA model just like this and was still a blast to drive. Went through rear tires like hotcakes. haha
I wonder if I could get this registered in georgia because we have to pass emissions...does this have OBD? If it doesnt then I think they put a sniffer in the pipe and with a catted DP maybe it would pass? I have changed my mind and would totally rather buy this over the turbo E36 M3 thats also for sale on here.
Nhibbs, just ask the local scenesters which test shop you can go to with a $50 tucked into the tailpipe and walk out with the cert. That's how it works in Cali at least
This car is an absolute steal at this price! If I didn't already have a Miata that I just finished, and had more time and money to Road race this thing would be in my garage. GLWS Sir!
Update: I have just about $40k invested in my car. I am looking for a motivated driver who is seeking the perfect opportunity to capitalize on a dream to be a competitive driver. Of course the price I'm asking for does not reflect this as I'm looking to pass this car onto an individual who will take this car to its full potential. I out grow my cars fairly quickly because of my involvement in the sport. I am willing to invest some of my Driver Coaching time into helping the new owner get this car setup and help develop your skills to a degree.
