FS: 1997 Impreza Outback Sport 5mt (Gauging interest)

I am considering selling my well-loved and now care-worn OBS. I originally bought the car as a winter beater, but quickly became enamored by her and decided to keep her around. Now, 5 years later I think its time to move on. If I don't get much interest in the next few weeks I'll likely put it up on ebay and craigslist

Details about the car:
-198,xxx miles (solid motor, never gives me an issue)
-Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs/wires (Subaru OEM parts) all replaced at 163k (when I purchased the car)
-front half shafts replaced at 171k
-oil sending sensor (not sure if that's right) replaced at 185k
-lower ball joints replaced at 185k
-New battery at 187k
-2002 WRX wheels (comes with 15" Subaru alloys with 3 decent tires)
-Custom white paint from green/gray two-tone (needs wet-sanded and buffed, sag on passenger door)
-Rear quarter rust "repaired" with fiberglass patches but rust is creeping back
-Door moldings and antenna shaved
-Sizable dent in drivers door from a rolling tire
-Deep scratch on hatch/handle (to the metal ) from garage door
-Hot heat and cold A/C
-some electrical issue causes intermittent functionality of back-up lights, dome light, cigarette lighter, and a couple of other things. Probably an easy fix but I haven't taken the time to look into it.
-Alpine stereo with 6" door speakers (POs additions, I added AUX)
- needs new struts up front and an alignment pretty bad (I plan on performing this in the next couple of weeks if no one snaps this up)
-tire tread is acceptable

- Also included: Rear sub frame off an '01 RS (for rear disc brake conversion) with new rotors and pads (unused, in box) and '01 RS side skirts (missing some clips)

All work was done by myself (mostly), so no, I do not have records and receipts for work done.

KBB values this car in "Very Good" condition at around $1900. Ill let it go for $1500 OBO.

This picture is about a year old, taken fresh after the new paint job. Ill get some more recent pics up to show its current state.

I just purchased a new pair of KYBs for the front end. Not sure I even want to sell now! Still entertaining offers though. I might still be persuaded if the numbers look good.

 

Still interested to see more pictures. Motor, interior, all 4 sides and 3/4 angles would be great. I am interested just don't have the time to see it in person. Hell a video would be better with cold start but that's really your choice to do that.

Car is not sold, but I have been spending a bit of time correcting some high level issues I recently became aware of.

At this point it would probably be a good idea to lock this thread for a while. I'll open it back up or start a new one when the car is ready to go.
