    Hey there,

For sale I have my 2001 Subaru Impreza Rs 2.5

    The info:

Mileage:126,678 on chassi 45k on new long block
Five speed transmission with stage 2 clutch (brand unknown)
    Coupe
AEM Cold air intake system (came installed)
    STP Short ****fter (came installed)
    STi billet shift knob
Carbon fiber trim kit (oem) REPLACED WITH ALL BLACK
    Tint on rear windows (oem?)
    Moon roof wind deflector (oem)
    Factory under seat sub (oem)

Since I have owned the car:
Fixed rear rusting and painted the the back of the car
    New front bumper
Painted foglight covers (not installed) INSTALLED
    Painted the hood
    Painted side skirts
    Painted the rear bumper
Painted rear spats (not yet installed)
Replica front lip (not yet installed) INSTALLED
    JDM Amber front corners
    Installed BC Racing coils (5&7k's)
Brand new All Season(came with car less than 1k miles)
    Rota - G-Force Flat Black w/red lip, 17" x 8", 5x100 48et SOLD
tires are Toyo Proxes 4, 225/45/17 SOLD
Replaced rear rotors with wrx rotors
    New rear brake pads
    Turned the front rotors
Last week installed a Viper remote start and security system

    The story:

I have had this car for three months. In that time I have done quiet a bit of work on it. I purchased the car from a family friend who had owned it since 2003(or 2004) It had spun a rod and they didn't have the time to fix it.
I had just sold my Wrx and the timing worked out great. I sourced out a long block from Chicago area and brought it back up to Duluth to do the swap
It took just the weekend to swap motors and it started on the first turn(have a video even). Car then went to the body shop to get the rust repaired. While in the shop I installed the new suspension and mounted the new tires. The car has 306 miles on it since completing all my work and getting it road worthy. I would love to keep this car, but my friend is offering me a good deal on his Rsti and I am hoping to jump on it. Wouldn't you?!

    The extras:

Things that I have not installed
Front lip (not painted as it was back orded when I was in the paint booth but could get painted on request) NOW INSTALLED
Rear spats (painted just not installed)
HID Retrofit kit (bulbs, ballast, and projector retrofits (just havent had time to install)) SOLD
Two sets of floor mats (winter rubber and summer rs25's)
Also have a Yakima rack with a bunch of attachments for bikes and boards (not installed)

    The cost:
I am going to toss out a number of 8k or best offer.
Really this car is ready to go if you want a good clean swap candidate or reliable daily.
I am looking to move quick on this so please dont be afraid to send offers or any inquires your may have.
Reasons for the price? Motor has less than 50k miles on the whole long block, all the after marked parts (which can be removed or negotiated), the body work, and the car was owned by a woman for the past 7 years. All the work was done right and no cost was spared on this as I was planning on having this car for a long while.

Feel free to PM or post up if you have any questions.

I will get some detailed pictures this weekend and post them up as soon as possible.

    Thanks for the interest,

    Chris

    One Iphone pic right now

Chris has $2,600 of body work into the car, which was a deal. The rust was cut out and what wasn't cut was media blasted away. The inside of the fenders were ground down and had Zero Rust thoroughly applied. The car might rust again, because that's what these things do, but if the new owner religiously cleans the area where the bumper meets the rear quarter, this thing will look great for many years to come. The paint matches pretty well and would be helped by wet sanding it.

Also, the Zero rust was applied to the area in between the rear quarter and the bumper, which is where the rust seems to start (little rocks and debris rubbing up against the paint, eventually exposing bare metal, then rusting). I don't know if anyone has used Zero Rust but that stuff is amazing.

I've learned from experience that if a thread doesn't specifically say sold or isn't locked, it's still fair game. I've bumped a thread from the dead more than once, and the guy still had the item I was looking for. Can't really blame him.

The chassis now has about 135k if I remember correctly.. (will check today)

The motor has maybe 55k on it now.. Roughly shy of 10k miles on the car over the span of a year and a half.

As far as interior shots, I can snap some tonight.. It is a hybrid interior at the moment.. I was working on getting the 04wrx seats installed, but only got the rears in before it got a little chilly outside. And with my winter beater in the garage getting tidied up for the season, I was going to do the rest of the seat install in a couple weeks. So for now, the front seats are the stock ones and the rears are the all black 04-05 wrx seats.
