Hey guys, got the Subie of my dreams now... so I'm pulling this from my CL ad (http://rmn.craigslist.org/cto/2992880311.html). Just trying to get the word out as best I can. $10k obo: I've been the owner of this great little car for just over six years. It's taken me from the east coast to the west coast and just about everywhere in between. A few years ago I decided to modify the car in a "non-typical" way. I spent way more money than I care to admit on quality performance parts to do a completely all-motor build stemming from a good deal I found on some individual throttle bodies. Those were incredibly awesome! However, they did not make for very easy daily driving. The car is still a bit of a handful getting used to driving, but way more manageable than it was before. It has a conservative 91 octane tune by Modern Automotive Performance, putting down 225whp. Significantly higher numbers are certainly possible if tuned on E85. I didn't mind the fact that it's barely reaching its power potential because it also still does 35+ mpg on the highway. This is a great platform for anyone who wants to take it to the next step and turn it into a full-on track car, or keep it how it is and have a pretty quick and unique daily driver! Here are the details: 2002 Honda Civic Si hatchback in black K20A2 engine and 6 speed swap from a 2002 RSX-S Wavetrac LSD ACT lightweight flywheel 6 puck clutch and upgraded pressure plate by Lakehead Clutch block bored to 86.5mm (from 86mm) Wiseco 12.5:1 pistons Eagle connecting rods ARP head studs Brian Crower stage 3 race cams Brian Crower valves/springs/retainers Hybrid Racing timing chain tensioner Cometic head gasket Valve lashing and head gasket recently done by Archer Racing Machine work and balancing done by Midwest Engine Roughly 6k miles on the engine since the rebuild Skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body Buddy Club full race header Skunk2 cat-back with silencer FIC 650 injectors Walbro 255 fuel pump AEM EMS AEM wideband KSport coilovers Skunk2 rear camber kit 16" Rota Grids in full royal sport bronze with Falcon tires. I painted the insides of the headlights black I used to have hood pins... so there are two small holes in the hood. The right rear marker light is gone because I cracked it backing out of a garage. The interior is reupholstered in leather matching the Si theme It's got aftermarket Alpine speakers, deck, and an Infinity amp. They haven't been hooked up for a while though. The battery light on the dash is on I'm told due to the fact the A/C is disconnected. It doesn't affect the car's functionality. The a/c lines have been removed but not permanently. The car has been all over the country but has only seen one MN winter. I washed it often to stay on top of rust prevention. There isn't a speck of it on the car.
