I am selling my 2002 Subaru Forester S Premium because my wife an I want to get a suburban. I am the 2nd owner. I purchased this in June of 2013 with 96k on it. It has been a great car and has done everything I wanted. It has great traction in the winter with its all wheel drive and has ample space in the hatch. It now has just over 136k.

The car has a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine and a 4 speed auto transmission. The drivetrain in the foresters are good minus one flaw, the leaky head gaskets. They were replaced around 70k (have receipts to prove). Once replaced with updated head gaskets there is nothing to worry about. I have also done all the scheduled maintenance while under my ownership (minus the timing belt since it was replaced at 70k with the head gaskets).

The exterior is in good shape (7 out of 10). It has is fair share of wear as it is 13 years old but still in good shape.

The interior is nice (8 out of 10). It has heated leather seats. It was the first year that the forester was available with leather and is a fairly rare option. The car also has a 6 disc cd changer, auto dimming rearview mirror, and the massive forester sunroof.

The forester has many other options as well. Such as keyless entry, security system, 2 sets of floor mats, rear cargo mat, side air bags, limited slip rear diff, and a heated front windshield. I am sure I am forgetting something.

The only thing that it will need sooner or later are tires. They is still plenty of tread but if I was planning to drive it through the winter I would put a new set on.

The price is $4200. I have looked around and feel this is a good price for it but I am willing to entertain REASONABLE offers.

Please call/text me (5zero7 four21 21one4) if you have any questions or want to check it out and let me know you saw it on mn subaru.

    Thanks for looking
