2002 WRX Wagon - $12,000 - 5 speed manual - 65,000 miles (approximately, it's my daily driver so they will go up until sold) - Drivetrain is stock and has always been stock - Mobil 1 oil every 3k since 9k (and changed before that with non-synthetic at 1K, 3K and 6K) - Options -- Auto-dimming compass mirror -- Cargo rack crossbars -- Cargo area net Pictures at: http://mnautosport.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=16 In the photos you can see a ripple in the passenger side fender. This is being replaced with a brand-new genuine Subaru fender. The foglights are Hella 500 clear fogs, with Hella Yellowstar bulbs. The blue driving lights are some cheapies with 130W bulbs for rally stuff. I will remove them unless a buyer for the whole car really wants to keep them. Additional parts also available in the other thread. Added: Subaru did the fuel line replacement (cold fuel smell), and the oil pressure sensor (leaked) was replaced under warranty, no other problems or service on the car. The cruise clip and seat bolt recalls have not yet been done, but that's free.
I think it was midnight blue pearl (black) for 02-03 and then later Java Black Pearl (04-05) and then Obsidian Black Pearl (06-07). nice low mile bugeye. free bump
Right you are. In 02-03 there was no true black. MBP was the closest thing, and in the right light you can see it's a deep metallic blue.
Lots of reasons, but mostly, the WRX just doesn't fit my life all that well anymore. hard to picture not having it though. I went to test drive a car last Friday, and after driving through the snow there it was hard to imagine switching. But I need a daily driver with an auto (chronic joint problems in my left leg occasionally flare up and then I can't drive a stick at all). I want to cut down the number of vehicles we have around here (and have to insure and maintain), so I'm getting rid of my truck, but I still want to be able to haul and tow, and the WRX isn't a good choice for that. I have a "toy" car (Sentra SE-R) and when I'm going to play, that's the car I use, so there's a lot of potential fun in the WRX that I'm not using anymore. And I need a bigger vehicle for my family. Spending a week in FL driving around a 7-person Toyota Highlander made it clear just how nice the extra space would be.
No, it's Midnight Black Pearl. MBP = Black with blue metal flake. JBP = Black with gold metal flake. OBP = Black with something else I never cared about. idget, wasn't your WRX OBP?
There is a Midnight Blue Pearl, color code C8P, but that's on the 08 STi. I believe that the color in 2002 was Midnight Black Pearl (I was wrong in the title) code 08V. But it doesn't matter, it's the 2002 black/blue pearl color, regardless of the name.
