If you want you can buy the car, put it back to stock with all the parts I have and the ones I'm missing, sell off all of the mods and actualy make money off of this deal, I just dont have the time for that. I want this car to sell ASAP, I cant keep paying the car payments on it. 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX ~48,200 miles Air Conditioning needs hose replaced, small leak on high side between condensor and compressor($130 from subaru) Clean Title New License Plates and Tabs 2nd Owner(Bought it stock at Minnetonka Subaru) Oil Changed every 2,500 with Valvoline Synthetic Blend New brake pads on front All Proper maintenence has been done I never beat on the car and havn't had a chance to take it to the track with the new mods, so everything is fresh. 300.3 Horsepower to all 4 wheels ~375 at the flywheel on pump gas (I do have a dyno sheet) The car is SLIGHTLY out of tune, but Russ has allready agreed to re-tune it for the new buyer. The first 2 people to come look at the car fell in love with it but in one way or another had problems coming up with the money. I have reduced the price dramaticaly because people seem to think small work, like the a/c and dropping the car off at Russ's, deserves a big discount.
I saw this car over by outback steakhouse and batteries plus on monday around 7-8pm correct? looks nice, sounds nice Free bump
Thank you, I had it posted one day so far on Carsoup and I allready got 3 calls, and 1 test drive tommarow.
nice car but the price is pretty outrageous IMO. you'd be better off parting it out and selling it as stock as possible.
I know parting out the car is the best way of selling a modified vehicle, but I do not have the time or all of the stock parts. Outragous you say? Same year WRX's go for 16-17k with similar mileage.... This one has a brand new tranny, clutch, flywheel, injectors, fuel pump, etc.... for only $2,000 more. Sorry but that's a deal... I've allready gotten 4 phone calls today for test drives and 2 sound serious, I've had it posted for not even 12 hours yet. But thanks for the input.
Beautiful car, great setup, dont part it out, there is a buyer out there who wants to get ahead of the game, wish I would of. I have already parted my stuff out of my 02 WRX, its a pain, and now it drives like a dog aka stock. Good luck selling it, Imrezme02!
Looks like a nice ride. Be prepared for people to lowball the hell out of you relative to your named price. Unless you haven't been involved with cars very long you'd know that lots of mods very rarely add anything to the value of the vehicle, and most buyers will be wary of buying an already modified vehicle unless you have some thing(s) that they are specifically looking for. Good luck with the sale!
I'm in a financial tough spot, I'm young and stupid and put all my money into my car. Just want to be able to enjoy life and not have to say "sorry guys cant go to Burger King, I can't afford it". That and I want to buy a house. After driving the car today I almost don't want to sell it, but I must! Thanks for the luck!
Well, since I've gotten my car back to stock, for the most part, I've started to push the sale of my car a little bit more. Everyone sees that the A/C has a leak in it and they run away. I lowered my price from $14,800 to $14,000 and within 4 hours I had 4 phone calls with interested buyers. First people to come out liked the car and understood the lowered price with the A/C, I'm taking the car into Brooklyn Park at 12:30 today to have a vehicle inspect done and have them estimate the A/C for the new buyers!!! If everything goes ok at Subaru today, they allready have a cashiers check ready, and everything will be transfered tommarow morning at 9:00 at my bank!!!!! So I just thought I let you guys know I will no longer own a subaru . This will be the first time since I got my permit that I will be subaruless. No worries though, after I buy a house and have the money, I will be back in the community. Of course I will try and come on the forums to see what everyone is up to! I would just like to say thank you to everyone that has helped me out with advice and anyone that purchased parts or helped me work on my car over the past year or two. Good luck to all of your projects and I hope you guys still keep a good reputation in the Import community.
Tinted taillights and windows Free bump. Have you ever been pulled over for having your tails or windows tinted? I have my windows tinted and am thinking about doing the taillights.
Nope, never been pulled over for anything. Might help that my dad was a Ramsey County Sherriff for 17 years..... all the cops know who I am and leave me alone. My friends get tint tickets all the time, not too many for tails, just dont cake on the tint and clear coat it, shiny is bad, I had 3 coats of VHT on mine and it was perfect, IMO.
Well I'm tired of people backing out on buying my car after they see it needs about $300-$400(money I dont have) into the A/C to fix a leak. I'm damn near to the point of bringing it into Subaru and asking them what they will give to me, White bears online calculator says they will give me $12,000 with none working A/C. Does anyone know of a fast way to SELL the car for a fair price? I'm asking $14k, which is allready well below blue book. And yes I've had the car on carsoup for almost 4 months..... Tried AutoTrader. And yes, I've thought of the obvious, drive the car off a bridge and say it was stolen, leave it in north east minneapolis over night, have a "deer" run out in front of me doing the speed limit and jumping out of the car right before it hits a big oak tree.
