For sale I have a 2002 Subaru Impreza Wagon in Aspen White with 5 Speed. The car currently has 128k miles and I am the second owner. The original owner purchased it back in 2001 from Morries and was told it was the first white wagon in the state. His needs have changed (third kid on the way) and could no longer justify keeping the wagon. I have a huge stack of all the work that has ever been done to the car. It was owned by someone who was not into moding or tuning cars, so, this baby is 100% completely stock; never modified. Timing belt has been done as well as all routine maint. I picked this car up from a co-worker (34yr old man) with a bad clutch and am in the processed of replacing that. I intended on keeping it as a daily for the winter since its really practical for hauling the snowboard around. However, I think it may be smarter to just pass the deal on and start saving for a house. I'd prefer to get this gone asap, so, I’m gong to ask 8k obo since I know the combo is rare and enthusiasts will be willing to deal. Feel free to ask any questions/haggle on price. I check PM's regularly and will be more than happy to answer in a timely fashion. Thanks for your interest. More pictures in post #7
Some additional facts about this car: Comes with Auto-diming mirror Rubber subaru mat for the hatch Cargo net for the hatch All factory service records Arm rest extension Other than that, all stock. Keep the offers coming and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
Clutch has not been replaced. I had some really good offers with out fixing it. I can def get it replace if the buyer would like. Otherwise, feel free to offer as is.
Is it driveable at all, or is the clutch totally gone? I'm potentially interested, however with an 02', I'd want to make sure the transmission is good before offering anything, and with a bad clutch, I'm not able to do that....
It is definitely driveable. You just have to keep the RPMs a little higher to engage the clutch. Definitely enough to fully shift through the gears (5th might be stretching it, though.
Have a potential buyer from Idaho, but he hasnt come up with a deposit yet. So, one last little bump just in case
Back on the bumping of this... Nothing serious yet. New clutch going in this weekend PM me if your interested
I'll trade you two outback wagons for it. One is a 99 legacy outback wagon. The other is a 2000 outback wagon. 135k mi on the 99, 161k on the 2000 but with fresh head gaskets and new pumps, seals, and timing belt. I am serious in this. Two cars for one. You could easily sell em both for 8k total.
