I purchased this car roughly 8,000 miles ago and so far its treated me well. This car is great fun in the summer, and still safe and easy to drive in the winter thanks to that handy all wheel drive. When I purchased this car it was stock, and it has remained that way, no engine damaging performance mods here. I have kept the car very clean, polishing and waxing the paint at the beginning of summer as well as before winter. Throughout winter I have had an unlimited car wash and washed the car almost every day to prevent salt buildup. The only modification which I have had done to the car is the 30% tints on all windows except the windshield. These tints also have a lifetime warranty through tintmasters which includes not only purpling or bubbling, but intentional/unintentional damage such as scraping, scratching or peeling as well. I care for the car very well and since I have owned it, the following maintenance has been performed. Brand new clutch and pressure plate (only 4k miles on them now!) Rebuilt Transmission ( Brand new first gear) (Work done by our very own BikerBoy) Oil changes every 3k miles with synthetic oil (the most recent roughly 1k miles ago) New brake pads in the front and back New rear rotors Radiator flush Transmission flush New battery All work was professionally done. The clutch and first gear are brand new and should not need repair or replacement for over 100k miles. All parts are Subaru OEM. this is over 2k dollars worth of service performed in just the clutch and transmission alone so you know this car will last, no burnt out clutches here. man...just got mine last month. I wanted a black or Blue one but I gota Silver. oh man i wish i know about yours first. Got my 02 WRX for $13,900 with 45k on it. Complete stock. Only thing that its Silver. Ohwell I"m getting used to Silver..hahah....
