I got a good deal for some lucky buyer. Selling my 03 WRX, want to get a bigger and newer Suby. The car got 45K miles on it and has been well taking care of. All maintance up to 45k service have been made on time, oil changed every 3k miles with full synthetic oil. Asking price $14900 Here is the list of mods: Engine: SPT intake JDM full TBE with down pipe Megan racing uppipe Large Top mount intercooler Open ECU tune by DB performance Suspension: Eibach pro springs (8000 miles on them) Cusco sway bar White line endlinks ADR 17" rims with Nexon 215/50/17 tires Fog lights cover (one fog light does not have a light bulb in it) STI hood scoop with custom made splitter Just had my rear rotors changed at Tires Plus as well as new front pads. I don't have front lip anymore and have OEM headlights no blue stuff on them. I also have all stock parts for the car if needed.
Top dollar my ass. Do a little research before you comment on something that doesn't concern you. It's a fair price. If you're interested in buying it I look forward to a reply-otherwise stay out of it. I'm checking for interested buyers before I trade it in. Dealer offered a little less than I'm asking.
Or maybe just vacuum it On a side note, this has about 13,000 less miles than my '04, which is definitely key. GL with the sale.
of course it will be cleaned for the right buyer. i wouldn't clean it for the trade in but if i post it somewhere else i will definitely clean it first. i want to sell it quick before i hand it over to the dealer.
Yo, I hate to be a jerk too, but maybe you should do some research before you insult well established members. This is a forum and a community, and not every response (especially on a car sale) is going to be interest. If you look closely, he is actually trying to help you get more money for your car by giving you a suggestion! Second, KBB value for this car in Excellent condition is $14,805, and your car will not be in excellent condition, as evidenced by the fact that it isn't detailed. That said, you can't say your mods increase the value because they don't. If anything, mods decrease value because people know you have beat on the car, they retain very little (maybe 20%) if any value when reselling the car. Third, you should ALWAYS detail your car before selling. Whether it is private party or a trade in, you will definitely receive higher offers for both if the car is clean. Edit: There is no way the dealer offered you a "little less" on a trade in. An offer of even $12,000 for trade in on that car would be amazing, especially because of all the mods. Know that I am not insulting you here, just asking you to respect the established members who are trying to help you, so that you may one day become one of those members, not one of many ignorant jerks who pop up here oh so often.
i don't usually insult anybody but if someone is a jerk to me i will return the favor. blue book value is 15. it's not like i expect to get what i'm asking. i never beat on this car. it was well maintained and is in excellent condition. come and see if you want. those pictures were taken a while ago...car is clean now. guess you guys can't get over a little dirt so i'll take new pics.
I smell mnsubaru drama thread also, I would try taking off that bumper lip, im sure you could get more without that on it, there are "tasteful" mods and there are im 16 and beat my car mods, the lip being the 2nd option. cheers! Tim
I don't have the lip anymore the car is in the original form except for performance mods. I will take some new pics later today.
I saw the car a couple days ago. Looks good and drives nice. The price is good in my oppinion. I bought my 02 with 50k on it for 14500.
1) do you have the stock wheels? 2) do you like those the wheels you have on it now? 3) do you have the wrx wing? Not trying to be a **** fyi!
what a difference the new pics make. I would not have considered buying the car in the first pics, car in the second pics looks much, much better.
be happy with about $13K... trust me.. I just sold mine for less then that.. but it was also a 1 owner and had 70K you have the mileage factor in your favor though... good luck on the sale... and the Dealer offered me a little under $11K for trade on mine when I took it in covered in mud ha ha ha about $400 more then the book said they would...
wow, looks much better! The car looks hot. dont like black, but it looks great. Anyone who gets the car should paint the lights for sure.
Why not? Is there something wrong with them? I was not sure what to get anyways but was thinking sedan or 5dr.
x1000 Good luck with the sale, sold my 02 Wrx with 62k miles for 11.5, but your is a little newer with a little less miles, so good luck!
