I don't at the moment, but plan on taking some this weekend, possibly even this evening. Otherwise, send your friend my way! I'm happy to answer any questions.
Just realized that many lookers in this thread may not know that the Mazdaspeed is a turbo. Mods, can you please edit the top section of my first post to look like this: 2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5 Factory Turbo. One of approx 5400 made. Velocity Red Mica GT (leather interior, cloth top) Just over 25,000 miles on the odo. Stored winters, never seen snow, or more importantly, never touched salt. I'm the second owner. The original owner stored it winters as well and took fanatical care of it. Thanks!
I used to own one of these, added a flyin' miata intake kit and front mount which added like 50 hp, fun car! I think they're is a pic of it on my profile, but whoever buys this will love it... Only reason I sold was because my wife became pregnant...
Yeah, I love this car. It's going to be hard letting it go. I had a 1994 Miata as well, (which I just sold). It was, frankly a dog compared to the Mazdaspeed. The turbo simply transforms the car from a well-handling but slow car to a real barrel of monkeys. It doesn't just handle well, it's also fast. Thanks for the bump guys!
BTW, in case anybody is wondering, there is more to the Mazdaspeed than just a turbo. You get unique paint colors, unique front/rear bumper treatments, unique black-chrome headlights, stronger clutch, thicker axles, shot-peened transmission gears, Heavier-duty Torsen diff, red-stitched perforated leather, larger radiator, etc. All stock. This, BTW, is #2208 of 4000 made in 2004. Another 1400-ish were made in 2005 before a fire at the factory in Hiroshima stopped production.
Okay! The rain held off today so I got some decent pics. Not the best, but not bad for a 10 year old digital point and shoot. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sneefy/
That's a great/clean looking Miata mang! Wish that i was in the market for a fast little roadster. That thing looks like it would be an absolute blast to drive! GLWS!
Were you driving this by chance Sunday night by the Fine Line in Mpls around 9:30pm ? I saw a very similar car, thought it maybe this one.. had a funny custom plate too... GLWS!
Nice! This thing looks really well rounded...great color, mods, sound system, low mileage! Tastefully done my friend I can see why it'll be hard for you to see it go, beautiful car!
Thanks, man! These are really well set up from the factory. I've been conscious to preserve the character and just enhance it a bit.
