2004 Subaru Outback 2.5l
-Mileage-124,3xx(mileage to go up as its my daily driver)
-Color- Regatta Red Pearl/Titanium Pearl
-Location-Rogers, MN
-Options- All weather package(heated front seats, mirrors, wipers), front/rear, bug/air deflectors, trailer hitch and wiring

Asking $5400 obo

The Good
-My father bought the car new and I took over ownership at 109,xxx miles. My father is very picky about his vehicles and kept the car in excellent condition inside and out. It certainly shows on both the interior and the exterior(no rust). I have a spread sheet that shows all maintenance that has been done and when. Including head gaskets and timing which was done by Minnetonka Subaru. Oil changes and routine maintenance were also done at Minnetonka Subaru aside from some fluid changes(front/rear diff, and trans) and struts which I did.

The reason i'm selling is because i'm looking to get a larger vehicle more geared for towing and family hauling. Thankfully the wife picked up a 2011 Legacy 2.5l so i'll still have a Subaru in my garage. Not interested in any trades.

The Bad
-Tires have approximately 25% remaining(I'll get a picture of that soon)
-Alignment is slightly off
-Front driver axle is clicking on left turns(I just installed the front driver axle with a NAPA remanufactured last November)
-Fairly sure there is an exhaust leak but I haven't yet crawled under to find it
-Has the typical piston slap on cold starts

This as a CLEAN car. I couldn't believe it had 100K on it when I saw it.

 

This thing is so clean for its age/mileage it's ridiculous. Sell your huge, fancy schmancy dining room table and serve your extended family holiday dinners on this bad boy instead!

 

How about some back seat pictures. Not much to see here with the kids seats in but its clean underneath them I can assure you. Also a tire tread picture. Sorry I don't have an official tire tread gauge but here' a picture with a quarter at least.

Wow, that thing is really clean! Must be one of very few 2nd gen Outbacks in the area with no rear wheel well rust.

Thanks! I got lucky when I found mine three years ago. I wanted a base (cloth) Outback with 5 speed and All Weather Package, in anything other than white. As things go, my girlfriend ended up buying a white Outback wagon last year...

 

I just picked up new tabs so the new owner will not have to worry about them until April of 2015!

I also realized that I didn't take a picture of the cargo area and spare tire. I'll get one posted tomorrow. But yes it does have a spare tire

I'll also be doing an oil change sometime this weekend as its due and I already have the oil.

Your assumption is correct no moonroof.

Instead there are two reading lights and a super sweet compartment to hold your shades!

 

I like your style...I keep my maintenance/mod records in a spreadsheet for each of my cars as well
